THE BLOG:

I have been blogging since January 2005. I think the first title I called my blog was Is it Just me?. I found it great to find people I hardly know actually empathizing with me and reading my work despite my anonymity. There is freedom to say what’s on your mind and you are judged my the merits of what you write. I originally had my posts at http://jaypox.blogspot.com . I adapted the Pinoy Wasteland title sometime in May or June of 2005.

What I have here are ideas I have, opinions that really don’t matter much for many people and activities that really isn’t much for most people. I live a very boring life, as I used to describe it before: These are opinions and adventures (or the lack of it) of a misguided Filipino struggling to make the most of his meaningless and boring existence.

THE MAN:

NAME: jeeper. I am also called Bzou,  jay-p and tekknocrap in other places. I am called Paulo at work. JP at home. Jose in Elementary and in High School and Adik by some.

BIRTHDATE: December 27, 1982

HOMETOWN: Antipolo, Philippines

CURRENT OCCUPATION: Tech Support for a Cable ISP

PREVIOUS JOBS: A summer job being a baggage counter attendant, a cashier for bottled beverage wholesaler, internships in Human Resources and Network Development (that sounded so sharp somehow) and a Technical Support Representative for an ISP in the US, DSL then Cable.

EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT: Some Business Course in some College.

LIKES: Dogs, chocolates, books, stamps, pizza, sex, movies, anime, long isolated walks in the darkness of the evening, cigarettes*.

SHORT BIO thus far AND OTHER INFO (or something less like that): Borne by normal parents, jeeper has always been a loner, he had few friends while growing up. He had few toys, break them and create new toys from there. He creates different worlds inside his head which probably worried his parents while growing up. He was sent to a Catholic School at age 4 until High School. He didn’t study for the next three years, activities unknown. He decided to study again at age 19 in a less than popular state university and took a business course that he wasn’t exactly passionate about. Been agnostic since he was 20 after realizing he is not sure and it’s pointess. He retreats in his own world (not as often as he used to) to look for entertainment. He has been doing Technical Support for ISPs for two years and is sick and tired of it.

He is by the way seeing someone right now, the most serious in so long since the beginning of the universe (he thinks unless reincarnation is real). She’s a feminist weirdo who he converses with about nonesense like existentialism, Tolkien, Egalitarianism and why people have sex organs (bakit di na lang tayo naging halaman?). She’s VERY smart.
